FORTVILLE, Ind. -- If you want to win the lottery, stealing tickets is not the way to do so.

Two men thought it was a good idea when they broke into Strough's Supermarket in Fortville on Jan. 18.

Police say the suspects forced their way in through the back entrance of the store.

Scott Morris of Fortville and William "Billy" Loder of Greenfield were arrested on Jan. 24 after Fortville police say they made several attempts to cash in their winnings.

Both men are now being held at the Hancock County jail, facing several charges including burglary and theft.
