GREENTOWN — A double shooting that left two people dead in Howard County Monday was a murder-suicide, according to investigators.

The Howard County Sheriff's Office identified the victims as 39-year-old Kimberly Butler-Wilson of Sweetser and 42-year-old Timothy Glassburn of Converse. Both towns are near Greentown, east of Kokomo, where the two were found dead,

After 6 p.m. Monday, local police and sheriff's deputies were called to the parking lot of the Casey's General Store in Greentown where they found the man and woman slumped over inside a 2012 Dodge Journey.

According to investigators, Glassburn arrived at Casey's, parked next to Butler-Wilson's vehicle and got inside. A few minutes later, Glassburn shot the woman and then turned the gun on himself. The sheriff's office described the two as "known acquaintances" who met for unknown reasons.
