INDIANAPOLIS — A 10-year-old girl missing on the northwest side of Indianapolis has been found and is safe, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
Yarel Hernandez had been seen around 4 p.m. getting off a school bus in the 2200 block of Biscay Square, near West 71st Street and North Michigan Road. She never made into her residence.
Urban search and rescue teams along with all on-duty IMPD Emergency Response Group officers were searching for the missing girl when she was found around 8:40 p.m.
