INDIANAPOLIS — The planned flyover by the Indiana National Guard's 122nd Fighter Wing on Thursday has been postponed because of weather.
On Wednesday, the 122nd Fighter Wing said the flyover to salute first responders working on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic will be held on Saturday, May 2.
Here is the updated timing for the Indianapolis flyover:
11:50 — Johnson Armory near Franklin
11:55 — Community Hospital
11:57 — St. Vincent Hospital
12:00 — VA/IU Health
12:02 — Lawrence Armory
12:05 — Anderson downtown
12:08 — Muncie downtown
12:15 — Marion VA Hospital

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana National Guard's 122nd Fighter Wing will conduct a series of #AirForceSalutes flyovers in major cities in Indiana to salute the first responders working on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Air Force Salutes flyovers are a way for the Air National Guard to show appreciation to the thousands of heroes at the front line of battling COVID-19. The flyovers are also intended to lift morale in cities across America due to the severe health and economic impacts that have resulted from COVID-19," according to a press release from the Indiana National Guard.
The flyovers have been incorporated into previously scheduled training missions, the national guard says. The exact timing of the flyovers may vary based on weather and or airspace availability.
