INDIANAPOLIS—The list begins with William Bancroft and ends with Jeffrey Young.

Fifty-one names of servicemen from Indiana still missing from the Vietnam War.

Fifty-one men from the Army, Marines, Navy and Air Force.

Each name is inscribed on a brick put in place recently on the north side of Monument Circle.

All will be honored Friday during National Vietnam War Veterans Day ceremonies.

The Caroline Scott Harrison branch of the Daughters of the American Revolution organized the ceremony, with the help of other Indiana DAR chapters.

Each Indiana serviceman has his own story.

One of them is Sailor George Ray Posey of Anderson.

His brick is sponsored by the Kikthawenund DAR chapter.

Posey's brother, Jim Posey, still lives in Madison County.

He told RTV 6 that George graduated from Anderson High School in 1967 and went right into the Navy.

One year later, Posey was washed overboard when a large wave slammed into his tugboat.

The tugboat was headed to a Philippine boat that needed help during bad weather in the South China Sea.

Conditions made a rescue attempt difficult and Posey's body was never found.

He was 20-years-old and is survived by two brothers and a sister.

Posey's name is on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington.

Friday's ceremony is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on the north side of Monument Circle.

In the event of rain, events will be moved a few blocks north, inside the Indiana War Memorial.
