INDIANAPOLIS—An Indianapolis man faces a long prison sentence after jurors found him guilty in a 2018 shooting on the city's west side that left a young woman dead and two other people seriously wounded.

Fransuah Mathews was found guilty of Murder, Felony Murder, two counts of Attempted Murder, two counts of Aggravated Battery and one count of Robbery Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury.

Another suspect, Anthony Smith, is also charged in the incident and is scheduled for trial in late-September.

24-year-old Kylie Price died in the shooting in the 1200 block of South Manhattan Avenue, near I 465 and West Washington Street. According to the Marion County Prosecutor, two men were seriously wounded—one is paralyzed from the waist down and the other suffered permanent nerve damage due to the shooting.

According to a probable cause document from the prosecutor, one of the survivors told police his father had arranged for a methamphetamine and gun deal with the two suspects. Instead, three people ended up with multiple gunshot wounds and Price died.

The survivors gave police enough information to identify Mathews and Smith as the suspects and both were arrested. The prosecutor says police searched Mathews' residence and found multiple firearms, including a gun that was used in the shooting.

Mathews will be sentenced September 13.
