INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Zoo says it plans to "take visitors to the extremes" when it opens a pair of permanent exhibits on Memorial Day.

Inside the renovated Deserts Dome, more than 20 species of snakes, including some of the world's largest and most dangerous, will be featured in the Extreme Snakes exhibit.

The venomous black namba is considered one of the deadliest snakes on the planet, according to the zoo.

A reticulated python, which can grow to nearly 30 feet long, will live nearby.

Exhibit two is called the "MISTery Park," and it offers a landscape of colorful flowers, tall grasses and trees for visitors to wander through while enjoying a cooling fog created by misters.

And it is in MISTery Park that you'll find a two-toed sloth — one of the slowest mammals on earth.

They spend most of their days sleeping and hanging out in trees.
