3 arrested in connection with murder of Papa John's driver on Indy's east side

INDIANAPOLIS -- Three people have been arrested in connection with the murder of a Papa John's pizza delivery driver Monday evening on Indianapolis' east side. 

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says they were called to the 11400 block of Kristen Circle just before 8 p.m. to complete a welfare check.

When police arrived they found a male victim, identified as LaVon Drake III, 24, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Police say three people have been arrested in connection with Drake's death. They have been identified as Juwaun Terry, 18, Jason Epeards, 18, Jasean Dale, 19.

The shooting remains under investigation by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
