INDIANAPOLIS -- Police have arrested a man in connection with a May 2017 murder on Indianapolis' west side.

Officers were called to the 1100 block of Congress Avenue on May 30 for a person who had been shot in the street. The victim, Damon Young, 39, was taken to the hospital where he later died.

On January 16, IMPD Homicide Detectives arrested Clarence Holder, 33, for his involvement in Young's death. Detectives say evidence and witness statements led them to Holder.
