INDIANAPOLIS -- A bomb squad was called to downtown Indianapolis for a suspicious package Monday morning, but all authorities found was some food and a bedroll left behind.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department bomb squad was called to the Julia M. Carson Transit Center near the intersection of Delaware and Washington streets around 10 a.m.
At the transit center, a box was seen with a blue cloth over it, but it turned out to be nothing dangerous.

Delaware Street was closed for about two blocks south of Washington Street, but re-opened about 45 minutes later.
