INDIANAPOLIS -- One of the youngest ever Jefferson Awards winners is growing up and going to college.
Tatum Parker was Butler University’s first admission to the class of 2023. She was surprised with the news Monday morning but Butler's mascot, Butler Blue III.
Tatum won the Jefferson Award back in 2014 – when she was just 14 years old.

The two-time cancer survivor started a program called “Tatum’s Bags of Fun.” She filled backpacks with fun things – like toys, games and electronics – and delivered them to other kids battling cancer at local children’s hospitals.
