"Hamilton" is coming as part of the Broadway in Indianapolis 2019-2020 season

INDIANAPOLIS -- Big news! "Hamilton" is finally coming to Indy, but you'll have to wait a while to see it.

The national tour of "Hamilton" will play Indianapolis as part of the 2019-2020 season.

Broadway in Indianapolis made that announcement Tuesday when they revealed the shows coming for the 2018-19 season.

They say the best way to guarantee tickets to "Hamilton" is to buy a season subscription for the 2018-19 season.

Broadway in Indianapolis says subscribers who renew for the 2019-2020 season will be able to guarantee their tickets for "Hamilton" before they become available to the general public.

Information regarding "Hamilton" dates and how to buy group and single tickets will be announced at a later time.

Shows coming for the Broadway in Indianapolis 2018-19 season include Disney's The Lion King, Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical, School of Rock, Rodgers & Hammerstein's The King and I, Waitress, and The Book of Mormon.

Season tickets for the 2018-2019 Broadway in Indianapolis season are on sale now. 

You can buy tickets in person at the Broadway in Indianapolis box office in the Old National Centre at 502 N. New Jersey Street, Monday - Friday, 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

You can order them online seven days a week/24 hours a day atBroadwayinIndianapolis.com.

Or you can call the Broadway Across America Indianapolis season ticket hotline at 800-793-7469.  The hotline hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Prices for the five-show season ticket package range between $155-$520 depending on seat location.
