INDIANAPOLIS -- A Fountain Square landmark is closed until further notice.

Peppy's Grill on Virginia Avenue was shut down by the Marion County Health Department Tuesday afternoon.

The 24-hour diner is a popular spot for late-night customers.

According to a post on the restaurant's Facebook page, they were closed for maintenance on Monday and planned to reopen Tuesday.

The health department says the main issue found at the restaurant had to do with refrigeration. They say when the owner fixes that problem they will be allowed to reopen.
