Indiana Task Force 1 members activated to ahead of Hurricane Olivia

INDIANAPOLIS – Members of Indiana’s Task Force 1 are being activated to help two areas of the nation where Hurricane Olivia is expected to hit.

Program Manager Tom Neal, Task Force Leader Gerald George and Structural Specialist Scott Nacheman will be deployed to Hawaii where Hurricane Olivia could hit the islands as early as Tuesday.

Urban Search and Rescue specialist Bill Brown will be deployed to the Urban Search and Rescue headquarters in Washington D.C.

The team in Honolulu is working with Federal Emergency Management Agency Urban Search and Rescue. 

It is unknown how long the team will be in Honolulu.
