The Indianapolis Department of Public Works will be hosting a job fair this upcoming Monday, August 27th, from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the DPW Operations garage, located at 1725 S West Street.

Back in April, Mayor Joe Hogsett announced the creation of six new maintenance teams to better address potholes and road deterioration.

To staff the teams, DPW needs to hire: 6 Crew Leaders; 6 Heavy Equipment Operators; 23 Maintenance Operation Technicians; One Heavy Equipment Technician.

The right candidates for these positions will have a high school diploma or equivalent; will be a resident of Marion County; and will maintain a valid Class “A” CDL license.
