ISP searching for hit-and-run suspect from I-465 crash that left Noblesville woman injured

INDIANAPOLIS -- Police are searching for a driver who struck a woman on I-465 early Wednesday morning and then fled the scene. 

Indiana State Police were called to the scene near I-70 on the city's east side around 7:30 a.m. When they arrived, they found Andrea Guzman, 23, of Noblesville injured at the scene. She was taken to Eskenazi Hospital in an unknown condition. 

Investigators believe Guzman's vehicle became disabled on the interstate and she was struck while outside of her car. 

Witnesses say a dark-colored vehicle had initially stopped at the scene but then left. State police say that vehicle will likely have front-end damage from the crash. 

Any drivers in the area around the time of the crash who may have witnessed the accident or who may have dash cam footage of the area around 7:30 a.m. should call ISP at 317-899-8577.
