INDIANAPOLIS -- The Colts and Lucas Oil Stadium unveiled their new lactation suite Thursday in an effort to become more supportive and friendly towards new moms.

The suite will provide a new option for nursing mothers at Colts games and other events held at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The suite, a mobile pod created by Mamava, has a fold-down table, lighting, an outlet for breast pumps, a USB port and a door that can be locked for the mother’s privacy. It’s meant for individual use.

The pod is located on street level near section 132 in the southwest corner of the stadium.

“Having something like this, I think, just shows that we’re thinking of you and we really want you to be able to have your full life with us at the games and bring your kids,” said Colts Vice Chair and Owner Kalen Jackson. “We truly are a family organization, and this is just another representation of that.”

Fans can access the pod by downloading the app and the Bluetooth technology will unlock the door if you’re within three feet of it. You can also get the keycode from any information desk.

Lucas Oil Stadium also has a mother’s room, another location for breastfeeding or pumping, on the north side.
