Man killed on Indianapolis' east side is city's 6th fatal shooting in 3 days

INDIANAPOLIS -- A fatal shooting Monday evening that left a man dead on Indianapolis' east side was the sixth deadly shooting in the city over a three-day period. 

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to the 500 block of North Lasalle Street just before 10 p.m.

When they arrived, officers found a male victim suffering from several gunshot wounds outside the residence. 

That man was pronounced dead at the scene. He was later identified as Odell Berry, 36.

This was also the second deadly shooting Monday evening. Police have not identified suspects in either case.
