LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- A woman has been arrested for robbery in connection with the shooting death of a man who was found dead near a Lafayette street corner last week.
Lafayette police were called to the intersection of 9th Street and Virginia Street just before 7 a.m. on Friday, March 2.
When they arrived they found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound. That man later died.
The coroner identified the victim as Thayer Summers, 30.
Detectives have arrested Brooke Stichter, 22, for conspiracy to commit armed robbery resulting in bodily injury. Police say Brooke was not the shooter.
The shooter has been interviewed by police and released. That person faces no charges at this time.
The incident remains under investigation by The Lafayette Police Department.
