Man shot and killed Sunday morning in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS -- A man was shot in killed in a vehicle early Sunday morning.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called around 4:15 a.m. to the 6100 block of Nimitz Drive on reports that a person had been shot. 

When they arrived, they found a man in a vehicle who was pronounced deceased at the scene by EMS.

The victim has been identified as Trancito R. Montenegro, 35.

Police have not released any information on a possible suspect.
