INDIANAPOLIS -- A person was shot and killed on Indianapolis' east side Thursday evening.
Indianapolis Police Department officers were called to the scene in the 500 block of North Tacoma Avenue just after 6:30 p.m.
When they arrived they found one person suffering from at least one gunshot wound. That person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The person's identity has not been released.
