Ping-pong cafe opens Tuesday in downtown Indy

INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis is invited to meet, drink and pong beginning Tuesday when the city’s first ping pong café opens downtown.

Customers can enjoy fresh-brewed coffee, craft beer, wine and sharpen their ping pong skills morning, noon or night when Smash Social opens at 600 East Ohio Street. 

Daily prices are listed at $15; monthly priced at $50; and annual memberships at $500. Smash organizers said membership packages aren’t a requirement to play.

Packages include unlimited open play, the ability to reserve tables, discounts on guest passes, T-shirts, ping pong balls and more. 

Smash Social will hold a soft opening Tuesday, until 8 p.m.
