INDIANAPOLIS -- Police are asking for the public's help to identify a man accused of robbing a furniture store on Indianapolis' east side at gunpoint last month.

Surveillance photos taken on July 5 at Décor Furniture in the 4600 block of East 10th Street show the man police believe is responsible for the crime.

The store owner says the man in those images walked into the store and asked to look at an item. He then pointed a gun at the owner and demanded cash.

The owner told police he gave the man the money, but he also tripped an alarm.

The suspect ran out of the building and got into a black or dark gray Chevy Trailblazer with damage to the driver side tailgate.

The vehicle was last seen in the neighborhood around 11th and Arlington on the city’s east side.

If you have any information about the person in these photos or the crime, contact IMPD or Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 317-262-8477.
