INDIANAPOLIS -- Southsiders’ long wait is finally over: The Stop 11 Road Portillo’s location finally opens on Monday.
The Chicago-style restaurant beloved by patrons for its hot dogs and Italian beef sandwiches will officially open its second location in Indianapolis at 8150 US 31, near the intersection of Stop 11 Road and US 31.
Portillo’s first Indy-area restaurant opened in September 2017 near I-69 and 116th Street. A third location is planned at 10444 E. U.S. Highway 36 in Avon.

If you’ve been to the north side location, the south side restaurant will feel familiar with its Prohibition-style theme and two drive-thru lanes.
