SPEEDWAY, Ind. -- The Speedway Farmers Market is on the move.
Market coordinator Carol Wellman announced on Facebook and Next Door that due to poor visibility and low customer turnout at their current location at Daredevil Brewery on Main Street in Speedway, the market will be moving.
Starting Thursday, July 5, the farmer's market will operate at a new location on Crawfordsville Road between Noah's Animal Hospital and Petco.
In addition to a new location, the market will have new hours and stay open a half hour longer.
The new hours will be 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. every Thursday.
This is the second year for the market that offers a variety of homemade foods and products from more than a dozen vendors.
