STATE ROAD 9 LANE RESTRICTIONS
If you live in or around Huntsville, you'll want to pay attention to this traffic alert to avoid any delays in your commute or travels.
One lane of southbound State Road 9 between I-69 and Huntsville Road will be closed starting Monday for pavement repairs.
Crews will do this in pieces, by alternating lane closures, in order to leave one lane open for traffic flow through the area.
These restrictions will last about two weeks, so be sure to pay attention and use caution if you plan to use State Road 9, as workers will be out on the road.
This is all part of a $4.6 million project to modernize infrastructure between I-69 and Huntsville Road, including re-pavement, adding left turn lanes, and installing new traffic signals.
Again, this phase will last about two weeks, with the entire project expected to wrap up by the end of 2018.
