Vice President Mike Pence will be in Indiana this weekend for private events

INDIANAPOLIS -- The traffic mess around Indianapolis will likely get a little worse this weekend when the Vice President comes to town for some private events. 

According to Call 6 sources, Vice President Mike Pence is scheduled to arrive in Indianapolis sometime Friday.

He's scheduled to visit Brown County, Greenwood and downtown Indianapolis through the weekend. 

Currently, the Vice President is only expected to attend private events, sources say. 

He is expected to depart from Indianapolis sometime Sunday.
