INDIANAPOLIS -- Those of us who have had doughnuts from Long's Bakery already know how good they are, but the rest of the country is catching up.
The bakery was just named the best doughnut shop in Indiana by Travelocity.
Many of the other states' top spots have creative fillings or toppings, but Long's Bakery, like the state it hails from, keeps it simple.
"The Indianapolis institution has been serving up fresh, yeasty doughnuts for decades, covered in your basic glaze, chocolate and jelly-filled varieties," the website said about the doughnut shop.

There is also a location in Southport, but the west-side location is what it's known for.
"The place is so traditional that it accepts cash only, so hit up an ATM before you visit," the article said.
