INDIANAPOLIS — A clerk was shot during an attempted robbery at a wireless store on Indianapolis' West side Saturday.
It happened around 12:11 p.m. Saturday at VIP Wireless, 2918 W. 16th St.
According to Indianapolis Metro Police, a man entered the business and attempted a robbery. During the incident the suspect shot the clerk in the arm and fled the scene.
Police said the clerk was taken to Eskenazi hospital for treatment.
Additional details were not immediately available.
