INDIANAPOLIS -- A woman was killed Wednesday morning in a crash on I-70 near the Indianapolis airport.
The crash happened in the westbound lanes of I-70, near Ronald Reagan Parkway at about 5 a.m.
Police say a woman was in the median of I-70 with a flat tire on her 2015 Toyota Rav4. She was waiting for help when a 2013 Ford F-150 truck left the road and struck her vehicle.
The woman, 53-year-old Laura Moreno Bravo, was inside the vehicle at the time of the crash. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the truck submitted a test for intoxication, but those results are pending.
