INDIANAPOLIS – A woman was shot and killed on Indy’s west side Thursday night.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police said the woman was shot in the 5700 block of Port Au Prince Street around 7:30 p.m. at an apartment complex.
The woman was taken to Eskenazi Hospital, where she later died, said IMPD. She has been identified as 36-year-old Sharan Shepard.
