Women Behind the Badge: A look at what it takes to become an IMPD officer

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is making a push to get more women on the force.

RTV6’s Meredith Barack took part in the physical agility tests for IMPD Recruitment to find out just what it takes to become a police officer.

Watch her take the tests and find out more about becoming an officer in the video player above.

The deadline to apply for the IMPD 19th Recruit Class is August 19, 2018.

Classes start in June 2019.
