INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Department of Public Works will have trucks on the streets Tuesday evening into Thursday to deal with any snow or ice we may get.

Spokesman Benjamin Easley describes it as a "full call out of trucks in advance of wet snow expected tomorrow into Wednesday night."

The trucks will be begin pre-treating roadways Tuesday evening.

With a local accumulation of an inch or two expected, and falling temperatures into Wednesday night, icy road conditions will be possible.

DPW will also have crews on standby to deal with any tree debris blocking roadways. Residents are urged to report trees down to the Mayor's Action Center at: 317-327-4622.

Motorists are also reminded to drive with care during wintry conditions, especially on bridge overpasses or locations known to be slippery.
