A free afternoon classic film at Franklin's Artcraft Theatre

JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind. -- If you grew up addicted to Alfred Hitchcock films, The Historic Artcraft Theatre in Franklin is holding an event just for you. 

The theatre, known for specializing in screenings of classic films, is holding a special free screening of "North by Northwest" designed with older film junkies in mind on Thursday, September 7 at 1:30 PM.

The 1959 Hitchcock thriller stars Cary Grant as a man mistaken for a government agent, lead into a vast conspiracy by a group of foreign agents.

In order to get your free ticket, aspiring patrons should head down to Swartz Family Memorial Center at 300 South Morton Street in Franklin.

You must be over 55 years old to qualify for the free tickets. If you're a younger fan, don't fret: the theatre is also holding its regular weekend screenings of the film on Friday, September 8 and Saturday, September 9.
