WHITELAND, Ind. -- If you’re itching to get your kids out of the house this fall, consider a day on the farm. And what’s better than fields of pumpkins? Cows. A lot of cows.

Kelsay Farms is opening up its doors to families this October. This family owned-and-operated dairy farm has been a staple in Whiteland for years.

The farm is open during the weekends during October: Fridays 6 p.m. – 10 p.m., Saturdays noon – 10 p.m. and Sundays noon – 6 p.m. The cows enjoy getting extra attention from a captive audience: kids.

Admission will cost you $10 for kids and adults over the age of one year old. That price gets you into milking parlor tours, the corn maze, the baby barnyard, the Moo Choo Express, face painting and more. Pumpkins and snacks will cost you extra.

Rodeo Ron is bringing his Milkshake Cows to Kelsay Farms on October 21. Plus, the corn maze turns into a trick-or-treat haven on October 28 between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Kelsay Farms is located at 6848 N. County Road 250 East, just south of the Worthsville Road exit off of I-65.
