GREENWOOD, Ind. -- Police in Greenwood say they've received multiple calls from women who say they’re being followed around different supermarkets across town by strange men.

Some of the women claim the men are targeting them when they are walking with their small children.

Andrea Williamson said she was shopping with her two daughters at the Aldi off State Road 135 when a man started following them around the store.

“I thought they wanted my daughter,” said Andrea Williamson. “Who knows what they’re going to do with my daughter but they want her and that’s not going to happen.”

She said the man was staring at her 6-year-old daughter and nothing else.

“He kept his hands in his pockets the whole time,” said Williamson. “Never grabbed an item, never looked at an item.”

After a while of being followed, she got the manager involved.

She snapped a photo of him - you can see that photo at the top of this story.

Another woman who did not want to share her name said the same thing happened to her and her children at the Walmart in Greenwood.

Police say if you see someone following you don't leave the store. If you're uncomfortable, find a store manager or an employee and you can always call the police if it becomes a big concern.
