INDIANAPOLIS—A Marion County jury has convicted a young Indianapolis man in the murder of a teenager.
19-year-old Anthony Steele will be sentenced next month for the shooting death that happened May 28 of last year.
18-year-old Elijah Lacey was gunned down outside the Crown Liquor store at East 21st Street and North Post Road on the city's east side.
Police said he had been shot a number of times and was found dead in a pickup truck.
Steele was arrested a few days later and charged with murder.
