KOKOMO, Ind. -- A Kokomo boy who made headlines this week when he raised money for the family of fallen Southport Lt. Aaron Allan was a special guest at the officer's funeral on Saturday.
Malachi Fronczak's lemonade stand, "Malachi's Magnificent Lemonade" was opened in front of his home and at the library to raise money for Lt. Allan's family this week.
Southport police even took a trip to Kokomo to visit Malachi and say thank you.
Kokomo police invited Malachi as their special guest on Saturday to attend Lt. Allan's funeral. He and his family rode in a cruiser during the police escort and had a front row seat during the emotional ceremony at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

"We walked into the funeral with the VIP'S and sat there and cried with everyone else. It was a service we will never forget," Malachi's family wrote on the Facebook page for Malachi's Magnificent Lemonade.
Malachi was also photographed standing by officers as Lt. Allan's casket was carried out of Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Malachi's family also posted a photo of the kindergartner leaving a lemonade on Lt. Allan's cruiser and writing a special note for Lt. Allan's family.
Lt. Allan was shot multiple times while responding to a car accident at the intersection of Madison Avenue and Maynard Drive on July 27. He later died at the hospital.
Jason Brown was the driver of the vehicle that had crashed. He has been charged in connection with Lt. Allan's murder.
Brown is scheduled to be in court on Wednesday, August 9.
