HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. -- Firefighters battled a fire at an auto salvage yard in Hamilton County for more than three hour sand used over 100,000 gallons of water.
G.W. Pierce Auto Parts is located near the intersection of Westfield Boulevard and E. 226th St.
Officials say a large area of tires, auto parts and trash caught fire.
The area had no hydrants. Fifteen departments from four different counties helped to fight the fire.
They're still working to figure out a cause.
No one was hurt.
