INDIANAPOLIS – Madam C.J. Walker is recognized as America’s first female self-made millionaire where she inspired entrepreneurs in the 20th century, but the story doesn’t end there.
The family legacy continues through her great-great granddaughter, A’Lelia Bundles, a Hoosier, acclaimed author and veteran journalist.
Bundles said the Madame Walker Theatre brings back great memories of her childhood.
“This building is magic for me,” said Bundles.
