ANDERSON, Ind. -- A Madison County couple has been arrested after the death of their 23-month-old child.
Kayla Hudson, of Middletown, Indiana, and Ryan Ramirez, of Chesterfield, Indiana, have been preliminarily charged with neglect of a dependent in connection to the death of their child, according to the Madison County Prosecutor's Office.
Both have been placed on a 72-hour hold. Formal charges will be presented Thursday, the prosecutor said.
