GASTON — A two-vehicle accident left a Plainfield man dead Thursday.
It happened around 2:30 p.m. on northbound Interstate-69 in Delaware County, about 50-miles northeast of Indianapolis.
According to Indiana State Police, a passenger car ran into the rear of a truck that was slowing down for a construction zone. The driver of the car, 41-year-old Kevan McDaniel, died while the truck driver was not hurt.
Police say McDaniel tried to slow down, but he wasn't able to before hitting the semi.
