SPEEDWAY — You may think races are the only big event in Speedway, but think again.
Saint Christopher Catholic Church will hold its 81st annual Mid-Summer Festival Thursday through Saturday.
The festival is known for its food, especially the fish. There will also be a beer tent, rides, casino games, bingo, and more.
Entertainment includes a performance by The Doo on Friday and Polka Boy on Saturday.
The festival starts at 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday and noon on Saturday.
The church is located at 16th and Lynhurst in Speedway.
