DANVILLE — For the second time in less than two months, the car outside of the Mayberry Cafe in Danville has been damaged.

Just before 7 a.m. Saturday, Danville Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to the cafe, near the intersection of Jefferson Street and US 36, on the report of a vehicle accident, according to a Facebook post from the department.

A 20-year-old told police he fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into the car, according to the post. Authorities do not believe drugs or alcohol are factors in the crash.

In April, a suspected drunken driver also crashed into the car and left the scene.
