BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- A man tried to abduct two 5-year-olds Sunday evening in Bloomington, Indiana, according to a police report.

An officer with the Bloomington Police Department was called to the 1400 block of W. 13th Street on a kidnapping or abduction at about 7:30 p.m. Two 5-year-olds were playing in a park when the man tried to lure them away, the BPD incident report states.

The children weren't abducted. Instead, they were returned to their parents unharmed.

Police interviewed one of the children and their parent and talked to other witnesses.

RTV6 reached out to Bloomington police for more information on the incident. A BPD representative said there was nothing further to add to the case at this time.
