CLAY COUNTY, Ind. – The driver of a semi caused a chain reaction crash involving multiple vehicles Friday evening has died.
The crash happened in the westbound lane of I-70 near State Road 46 around 5:45 p.m.
Indiana State Police said the accident involved at least two semi-trucks and a car.
State police say the driver of the initial truck that caused the crash died. His identity has not been released.
State police have not said whether anyone else was injured in the crash.
This is the second fatal accident on I-70 in that area within the past week.
