INDIANAPOLIS — One person was rushed to a local hospital following a mid-afternoon shooting on the Indianapolis west side.
Police described the victim's condition as critical-but-stable.
The shooting appeared to take place on Hyannis Port Drive, near West 38th Street and I-465. However, the victim may have ended up at a different location a few miles away.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is trying to sort out exactly what happened, including what led up to the shooting and whether a suspect has been identified.
