INDIANAPOLIS — Part of I-465 was closed Friday afternoon near 10th Street after a crane fell off of a tow truck.
The Wayne Township Fire Department says the tow truck was traveling on 10th Street when the crane fell off and rolled down an embankment, hitting a vehicle before it landed on I-465.
The person inside the vehicle was checked at the scene but did not suffer serious injuries.
I-465 was closed while crews removed the crane piece and cleaned up the mess left behind.
The interstate has since reopened.
