BEECH GROVE — The Red Cross shelter that had opened in Beech Grove following Saturday's tornado at 7 p.m. Monday.
According to a news release, no one affected by the tornado stayed overnight at the shelter located at the Hornet Park Community Center.
Red Cross said volunteers are still on the ground in Beech Grove and will work with emergency management agencies, local emergency personnel and community to anticipate residents' needs.
