INDIANAPOLIS — Demonstrators across the country are calling for peace between the United States and Iran.

Dozens gathered on Monument Circle in Indianapolis on Thursday night in a 'silent demonstration.'

The organizer spoke before the event, saying no one benefits from war.

"We've sunk trillions of dollars into wars that have done nothing but destabilize the region and displace or kill millions of people," Eli Morey, silent demonstration organizer, said.

Several anti-war demonstrations were also held in San Francisco, New York City, and Miami.
